The western Algarve, with a town attached.
International desk — one advisor answers every Lagos inquiry
Lagos is where buyers go when a resort address feels like a compromise. It is a real town with a working center, a walled old quarter, a fishing harbor and a marina, and it does not empty out in November. The coastline west of it — cliffs, coves, the surf beaches beyond — is the most dramatic in the country. Property is more varied than the central Algarve: townhouses inside the old walls, sea-view apartments on the slopes above the marina, and villas spread through the parishes around the town, including the quieter agricultural land inland. Prices generally sit below the Quinta do Lago corridor for equivalent build quality. Buyers who value walking to dinner over gated privacy usually end up here.
