Neil Aberle

Neil Aberle is a veteran of the H.G. Christie team in Abaco, having received his Real Estate license in 2003 when he joined H.G. Christie. He initially worked in Harbour Island and Eleuthera for two years before moving to Abaco in 2005.

The Abaco territory includes the mainland of Great Abaco and Little Abaco Islands, and all of the outlying cays. The area is approximately 650 square miles, including fourteen towns, villages and settlements plus copious small islands.

Although he covers much of Abaco, Neil's primary coverage area consists of the outer cays including Hope Town/Elbow Cay, Man-o-War Cay, Guana Cay and Green Turtle Cay.

Neil was born in Nassau in February 1967 to Australian and British parents who had settled there. He spent his first years of schooling in Nassau at Lyford Cay School, before leaving for boarding school in England, where he attended Hawtreys, Eton and Oxford University, graduating in 1989 with a degree in Philosophy and Psychology. He then worked for almost two years for the management consulting firm of Bain and Co. in London, before returning to his native Bahamas to launch a publishing company, Aberland Publications Ltd., which he ran as publisher for more than ten years.

It was during this period that Neil first had the opportunity to spend considerable time in Abaco when his company launched the publication of "What's On, Abaco", a period that rekindled fond memories of summer visits to these islands as a child.

In 2002, Neil moved from Nassau to the island of Eleuthera, where he started his own adventure tour company, Bahamas Out-Island Adventures. The following year he joined H.G. Christie Ltd., bringing with him his extensive knowledge and love for the islands of the Bahamas.

With over fifteen years of experience in sales, marketing and customer satisfaction, Neil is noted for his ability to effect satisfactory transactions with all of his clients and customers. Neil is an avid spearfisherman, water sports lover and farmer. He speaks conversational French and Spanish. Neil lives on Elbow Cay, Abaco with his wife Rachael and their two daughters Summer and Jasmin.
