Representing foreign and Caribbean real estate investors in the Dominican Republic, Karen's expertise and passion are her biggest strengths when consulting with her clients. Raised between New York City and Santo Domingo, Karen Lopez is a real estate professional with a well-rounded background in real estate, marketing, and fashion. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Syracuse University (GO ORANGE!). After graduating from college, she worked as a fashion stylist and editor for several reputable magazines including Elle, Vogue, Allure, and Glamour. Karen currently serves as a luxury real estate agent at Christie's International Real Estate, specializing in Las Terrenas and Punta Cana. In addition to architecture and interior design, Karen is passionate about health and wellness, travel, and making the world a bit less chaotic.

Karen finds joy in helping people find their dream home and developing real estate projects from scratch. She is committed to exceptional service, transparency, and a conscious approach to business where her clients' needs are the #1 priority. Lastly, integrity is non-negotiable in her personal and professional life.

Her go-to spots in the Dominican Republic are Playa Bonita in Las Terrenas (cocktails and sunset at Mosquito Hotel are mandatory!) and Natura Cabana in Cabarete. When she isn't working, you can find her beach hopping around Puerto Plata with her dog Shakti, meditating, exploring new restaurants (full-time foodies!), and exploring new countries around the world.
