Jennifer Gibbud

Jen Gibbud is a native of St. John and a seasoned real estate broker. She was born and raised on the island, fostering a deep connection with its unique environment. After completing her education at the University of San Diego, where she specialized in International Relations and Philosophy, Jen embarked on a transformative journey, exploring various corners of the globe. However, her heart always longed for the eternal summers and abundant natural wonders of the Virgin Islands.

Driven by her love for the outdoors, Jen found solace in activities like surfing, diving, and hiking, which allowed her to fully embrace the island lifestyle. During her time on St. John, she worked at the popular Beach Bar in Cruz Bay, immersing herself in the vibrant pulse of local life. Her extensive background in the hospitality and food and beverage industries has not only refined her communication skills but also enhanced her ability to foster strong customer relations.

Jen's life took an exciting turn when her partner, Ryan, seized the opportunity to open a restaurant on the island, known as Extra Virgin Bistro. Witnessing Ryan's entrepreneurial endeavors inspired Jen to ponder her own future path. Real estate emerged as the perfect convergence of her lifelong passion for St. John and her profound knowledge of the local landscape. It offered the ideal balance, allowing her to continue working in the beloved service industry while capitalizing on her intimate understanding of the island.

Since 2017, Jen has dedicated herself to the Extra Virgin Bistro team and pursued real estate on a full-time basis. In the summer of 2019, the team expanded its horizons and opened a second eatery, 18°64° The Restaurant. Jen's commitment to her professional growth coincided with personal milestones as well. In 2020, she and Ryan joyfully welcomed their daughter, Harlan, into the world. Shortly after, in 2022, their family grew once more with the arrival of Jen's brother, Liam. The addition of these two new members solidified their party of four, fostering a sense of shared love and adventure.
