Heather Forde-Prosa

Heather Forde-Prosa settled in Elbow Cay, Abaco, in 2006 as a business owner of a popular local hot spot. Prior to that, she worked as Director of Brand Communications of a multi-national company in the U.S.A., representing One&Only Ocean Club and Atlantis, Paradise Island. This role involved all aspects of marketing, design, publishing, and communications, working directly with all department leaders.

Heather will represent your needs professionally, understanding the importance of performance and service. She enjoys connecting with people and working to ensure her clients are informed and at ease with all aspects of their real estate aspirations.

Known for her community-minded pursuits, Heather is committed to Abaco and its heritage. She is one of five women entrusted by the Bahamian Government to care for the Elbow Reef Lighthouse in Hope Town. She is one of three founders of the Elbow Reef Foundation, a U.S. 501(c)(3) dedicated to helping Elbow Cay rebuild and to further protect Elbow Cay's treasures. In addition, Heather is one of the Abaco Chamber of Commerce directors.

Heather was born and raised in Nassau and educated in Ontario, Canada, where she received a B.A. from Carleton University in Ottawa. She is a multi-platform artist, writer, and photographer interested in creative pursuits, including teaching art to children whenever possible. In her spare time, Heather is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree online at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
